Designed as a tribute to British aviation history, this specific watch commemorates the 50th anniversary of the 1969 Transatlantic Air Race won by Squadron Leader Tom Lecky-Thompson in his historic Hawker Harrier XV741 fighter jet.
Fuselage Fragment: Behind the "0" index at the 12 o'clock position sits an actual, physical piece of the fuselage cut from the original Harrier XV741 aircraft.
Cockpit Subdial: The uniquely shaped 24-hour subdial frame at the 9 o'clock position directly mirrors the silhouette of the Harrier jet's cockpit canopy.
Running Seconds: The sub-register at the 4:30 mark displays "11.29 MILES", signifying the average distance the aircraft covered every single minute during its record-breaking transatlantic flight.
Operation "Blue Nylon": The watch's distinctive blue and dark green accents pay homage to the original top-secret codename given to the RAF's race participation
