Based on its distinctive \"sarcophagus\" shape and ornate engravings, it is likely the work of the renowned Sheffield silversmith Henry Stratford. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDesign: A \"waisted\" or sarcophagus-style body with a stepped, hinged lid.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eEngravings: Hand-engraved with floral and leaf patterns surrounding a central shield-shaped cartouche.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eFinial: A dark, likely ebonized wood finial used as a handle for the lid.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eBase: It sits on four decorative feet, in a bun style. \u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eThese caddies were produced in Sheffield, England, around 1894–1898.
